This Girl Draws Houses is inspired by the spaces and communities in Devon and Cornwall, surf trips to new beaches and hikes to tors on the moors. Its rare the art works replicate a geography, more a sense of place, a memory, or. feeling brought about by colour, the weather, the vibe or the people. I believe these are the things that bind us to places and its that energy that This Girl Draws Houses tries to capture.

Special Art for Special Occasions
The first ever This Girl Draws Houses was made for one of my best friends when they got engaged. A huge A1 piece with rows of terraced houses based loosely on the town where we grew up. Attached to it were 3 pens: pink, blue and purple. The idea was they could each find the house they had grown up in and colour it in with pink and blue, then they would choose the house they wanted to live in together and colour that one in purple. It was a reminder of where they had been and how far they had come.

It is an original heirloom gift for anyone getting engaged and married, for anniversaries and birthdays, for children leaving home, maybe even for divorcees.
